The Leadership Behind SLI Capital

Bryan Kane

Founder & Managing Partner

Bryan is a Founding Partner of SLI Capital. He has over 20 years of real estate investment and capital markets experience across a variety of asset types and structures including over $2 billion of investments since 2011, the majority of which has been focused on Sunbelt markets. Prior to founding SLI in 2017, Bryan spent 6 years leading the Southeast region for FCP. Before that, Bryan worked in real estate capital markets at CBRE. Bryan is a member of Young Presidents Organization, the Real Estate Roundtable and the Urban Land Institute. He earned a BBA from the University of Mississippi.

John Pitt

Co-Founder & Partner

John is a founding partner of SLI Capital with over 17+ years of experience in investment management and capital raising across multiple asset classes. He previously held roles at Goldman Sachs & Co, Credit Suisse and KDI Capital Partners. He holds a BS from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina.

Wayne Chambless

Partner

Wayne joined SLI in 2020 and has over 25 years of private and public real estate investment experience, having held senior investment and management roles at global hedge funds including Millennium Management, Highbridge Capital, and SAC Capital. Prior to those roles, he founded Harrier Hawk Capital, a short-biased investment firm, and began his career as an analyst at Kynikos Associates, the world’s largest short-selling firm.  Throughout his hedge fund career, much of his focus was on public REITs and real estate holdings. He holds a BA from Yale and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Wayne has also completed coursework as a visiting student at St. John’s College, Oxford University and has been a guest professor at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and Wharton. He manages SLI’s Nashville office.
